Reality of Google Ranking

Google dominates the search engine market with 88.62% share compared to Bing’s 5.73% and 2.99% for Yahoo.  Google processes 3.5 billion searches per day, or 40,000 search queries every second.

96% of people who conduct a Google search right now for your products or services will NOT go to Page 2 reflecting the importance of having your business listed on Google, Page 1.

Google visibility is predicated on a number of factors outlined on this website page.  (Photo Courtesy of Myriam Jessier, Unsplash)

Google My Business (GMB)

Google My Business (GMB) is your personal Google Page which appears when someone searches for your business by name or  your name appears in Maps on a SERP (Search Engine Results Page).  We will set-up your GMB & enhance it if you already have one established for a small fee.

PPC Advertising (SEM)

Google Search Engine Marketing Ads (PPC/SEM) appear at or near the top of Google with the visibility (how often the Ads appear during a day) based on a budget.

The fastest way to get Google exposure is through Pay-Per-Click Advertising.  When people are looking for your services they Google a product/service and Google will serve 1-4 businesses at or near the top of the page.  The best thing about PPC Advertising is that you only pay when people click on your Ad.

We charge flat fees and do not take a percentage of your ad spend for PPC Advertising.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Google’s Algorithms have become very sophisticated in their ability to understand a website.  Fresh content, blogs, reviews, meta tags, alt tags, links, etc., all play a role in Google Ranking.  SEO is not a quick fix for Google Ranking.  It can be compared to a marathon versus a sprint.

Local Services Ads (LSA)

Google Local Service Ads helps consumers quickly and easily discover, connect with and employ businesses to meet their needs.  Local Service advertisers receive a Google Guaranteed Badge, premium promotion and an outstanding profile page with real reviews which help build a sound online reputation.  We can help businesses with onboarding and assistance with the Screened application, dynamic bid management, recertification and online profile optimization.

Google Analytics

Landscape of Google Page 1:  Where your business ranks on Google is determined by the Google Algorithm that takes into consideration numerous factors, i.e., domain history, keywords, location, online content, website quality, online images, blogs, reviews, social media and other factors.

Google Page 1 has four main page sections.  (1). LSA Ads appear at the top followed by (2). PPC Ads, (3).  Maps and (4.) Organic.  LSA Ads and PPC are Paid Ads that appear daily based on a budget.  Maps is determined by  keyword and location searches.  The Organic section may show 4-12 businesses listed on a search.  SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is utilized to improve a businesses Google Rank in the Organic section.  On a Dentist search, Google is not going to show 20 dentists listed in the Organic section as there may be 78 dentists in town!  Depending upon advertising budgets, Google may serve anywhere from 0-3 LSA Ads and 0-4 PPC Ads on any given search during the day.  That is the reason you will see different amounts of businesses appearing in either of these two top of the page Google Paid Ad positions during the day.

Images reflect Google Page 1 positions, as follow…
