Our family is gulf-centric as we enjoy the beautiful Gulf of Mexico surroundings and take every opportunity to savor the blessings it gives us. We love to fish! When we first starting fishing offshore, Panama City Beach, there was a learning curve involved as the waters in the Panhandle are quite different from the Gulf Waters we fished in Sarasota. The water in the Panhandle is deeper, colder and the bottom is entirely different from Sarasota where we generally fished and scuba dived on limestone reefs. Here, we fish primarily artificial reefs and corals which are not highly prevalent in South Florida.
We have upgraded our electronics to Simrad from Furono which makes a big difference in reading the bottom. Some people ask us where do we fish? Well, the answer is simple, we just plug in our GPS numbers and set course from the St. Andrews Pass. GPS numbers are as sacred as gold bullion! We use Penn rod and reels and circle hooks. We bring plenty of water, sandwiches and snacks on each trip, plus sunscreen! If you want to talk business, please call. If you want to talk fishing, please call.
